INFORMATION
KENFEST, Kenilworth’s beer and music festival is a Kenilworth RFC event. 20% of net profits will be donated to charity – 15% to The Myton Hospices and 5% to Warwickshire Hearts (5%), the remaining 80% of profits will help to cover the operating costs of the rugby club.
Admission: Entry to the event is by ticket only. Tickets will be available in advance and also on the door, subject to availability. Priority entry will be given to advance ticket holders. Scanning of a ticket on entry to the event provides the ticket holder with social membership of KRFC for the duration of the ticket validity.
Opening times are: FRI 1800-2230, SAT and SUN 1100-2230. Strictly all festival attendees to have left site by 2300 hrs.
Purchase of Beers & Ciders: The beer and cider bars will operate a token system. No refunds will be given on tokens, please only purchase the quantity you will require. 2 tokens =1/3 pint, 3 tokens = half pint, 6 = 1 pint
Children: Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied supervised by a responsible adult. Please remember our events can be busy and noisy environments and may not be suitable for small children
Prams and Pushchairs: No prams or pushchairs are permitted in the entertainment tentAt festival purchases: Important notice- KENFEST is a cashless eventWeather: Events will continue regardless of bad weather. The decision to cancel or postpone an event will be made at the discretion of the organisers
Postponement and Cancellation: If we postpone or cancel an event for any reason your tickets will be transferred to an alternative date. No refunds are available in these circumstances
Tickets: When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to purchase tickets. You will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order and confirming whether or not we can accept that order. A contract between us is formed as and when we confirm our acceptance of your offer to purchase tickets. Our contract with you is governed by the laws of England. By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms. Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays. There is no guarantee that tickets will continue to be available up to the start of the event. Capacity at each session is limited by licensing conditions and each session may sell out in advance.Tickets are non-refundable.
Programme Alterations: Sometimes we may need to make an alteration to the advertised details for the event and often at short notice. If this happens the organisers are not obliged to refund money or exchange ticketsWe cannot guarantee that the full range of beers and ciders will be available at all times. This can be due to non-delivery, the beer is not ready or has been finished
Photography and Video: The organisers reserve the right to photograph or video any person attending and use the said images in print, our website and social media channels. Requests for removal of images may be made to us and we will endeavour to remove them from media where possible
Personal Property: Neither the organisers nor the venue management may be held responsible for loss or damage to personal property
Personal Safety: Events can be noisy and busy and attendees should take care when moving about. The organisers will do their best to ensure guests’ safety at all times but accept no responsibility for guests’ personal injury or accident whilst they are attending an event
Covid 19: The organisers will comply with government H&S guidelines at the time of the event. However, the organisers accept no responsibility if you contract Covid 19 or any other viral or bacterial infection at the eventRight to refuse entry: The organisers reserve the right to refuse anyone entry to the venue at their discretion
Anti-Social Behaviour: Anyone found to be causing damage to the venue, the venue infrastructure, causing harm to any other person on site, behaving in an illegal, anti-social or aggressive manner, appearing to be under the influence of drugs or in breach of these conditions will be ejected from the event and may be reported to the police
Bag Searches: The organisers and their volunteers and staff reserve the right to conduct bag searches to ensure everyone’s safety
Glass: No glass can be brought onto site, in addition, gazebos, tented structures, barbecues, fires, cookers, lawn candles or naked flames are not permitted and will be confiscated prior to entry
Alcohol: No alcohol may be brought onto site other than as approved by the organisers. A good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be on sale from our bars
Challenge 25: If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring ID
Drugs: No drugs are permitted on site, including legal highs
Dogs: No dogs except guide dogs.
KENFEST BIKE RIDE: Terms and Conditions
1. Each rider will attempt to complete the entire distance within the given timetable.
2. Each rider must stay on the approved route. Details of the routes will be provided. The routes will not be signposted. Non-compliance with this rule will lead to disqualification at the Event Organisers’ discretion. Riders are recommended to download a suitable cycling app such as mapmyride
3. Riders must not antagonise motorists or pedestrians and must always obey the Highway Code. Riders must wear helmets and use front and back running lights.
4. KENFEST Bike Ride is NOT a race! Riders will be encouraged to stay together in groups
5. For insurance and safety purposes, the required minimum age of all riders is 18 years as of Friday 1st May 2026.
6. Riders must be reasonably fit to complete the event. We strongly advise that medical advice is sought prior to the event. By registering riders are confirming that, to the best of their knowledge, their general state of health is good and that they take full responsibility for themselves.
7. Riders must be personally covered by insurance, for accident and any loss of equipment.
8. A £30 non-refundable advanced entry donation must be paid by each rider as confirmation of their entry. And all riders must raise an additional £20 (minimum) in fundraising. Any fundraising pledged beyond this sum must be submitted by Monday 18th May 2026.
9. Riders are encouraged to provide their own sustenance in completing the bike ride. Snacks and drinks including protein products will be provided FOC at the halfway point, pit stop courtesy of the Purity Brewery. Alcohol consumption on the ride is discouraged.
10. Riders must make their own way to and from the bike ride start and finish points; please note there are no car parking/secure bike storage/changing facilities available at Kenilworth RFC
11. Each rider grants Kenilworth RFC/ KENFEST/ KENFEST Bike Ride 26 the right to use the photograph(s) resulting from the KENFEST Bike Ride 26, and any reproductions or adaptations of the photograph(s) for all general purposes in relation to Kenilworth RFC/ KENFEST/ KENFEST work including, without limitation, the right to use them in any publicity materials, books, newspapers and magazine articles whenever Kenilworth RFC/ KENFEST/ KENFEST chooses to do so.
12. It is the responsibility of each rider to arrange adequate insurance in the event of the risks listed below.
12.1 Riders acknowledge that cycling involves strenuous physical activity. Riders confirm that they are sufficiently fit and are not suffering from any health problems which will be exacerbated by such activity. Riders have been advised by the Event Organiser to seek advice from a qualified medical practitioner if they have any doubts about their health or fitness. If any medical or physical condition arises prior to the ride, which is likely to affect any rider’s ability to take part, riders must withdraw.
12.2 Riders recognise that cycling on public roads is an activity with a danger of personal injury and even death. Riders confirm that they are aware of and accept such risk and will be responsible for their own actions and involvement in this activity.
12.3 Rider also acknowledges that they have been advised by the Event Organiser to consider additional personal insurance which will provide cover for the following:
12.3.1 Costs of medical treatment resulting from injury/illness
12.3.2 Evacuation
12.3.3 Loss of earning and/or cost of care due to injury or illness that I suffer during the KENFEST Bike Ride 26
12.3.4 Against loss of or damage to personal property (including bicycle)
12.3.5 Legal expenses
12.3.6 Riders confirm that it is their responsibility to arrange adequate insurance against such risks listed above. The Event Organiser will not accept any responsibility or liability for any costs that may be included due to insufficient insurance cover.
13. Event Organiser’s Liability
13.1 The Event Organiser shall not be liable to the rider for any liability in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise or any loss of business, revenue or profits, anticipated savings or wasted expenditure, loss or damage of or to personal equipment belonging to the rider or any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (notwithstanding that such loss was within the contemplation of the parties at the date of registration for the KENFEST Bike Ride 26) arising out of the rider taking part in the KENFEST Bike Ride 26 or any other matter arising under the Conditions of Entry.
13.2 The Event Organiser’s liability is limited to the £30 advanced entry donation paid by the rider.
13.3 Without limiting the foregoing, the Event Organiser will not be liable for any actions of any spectators or other third parties unless set out in this agreement.
13.4 Accordingly the rider hereby expressly and irrevocably renounces, for him/her, heirs and successors in title, the right to any recourse or claims whatsoever against the Event Organiser, its officers, agents, employees, suppliers and/or sponsors and/or persons for whom it is answerable (Associated Parties) as a result of any kind of physical, mental or other loss or damage of whatsoever nature (including any loss of earnings, profits, or pain and suffering) suffered by the rider, directly or indirectly, or by his/her family or by any dependents and caused by an event in any way relating to the rider’s participation in the KENFEST Bike Ride 26, and the rider hereby undertakes, for him/her, heirs and successors in title to indemnify and hold harmless the Event Organiser, and the Associated Parties for any costs and/or amount which they or any of them may be required to pay as a result of any recourse or claim aforesaid by whomsoever made. The rider also agrees to indemnify the Event Organiser and the Associated Parties for any claim, actions, liabilities or losses resulting from any breach of the Rider’s declarations above and/or the rider’s negligent acts or omissions and/or wilful misconduct.
13.5 The rider accepts that any mechanical support received on their bike or medical or first aid help organised by the Event Organiser, other riders or other third parties is at the rider’s own discretion and risk, and they will not hold anyone else responsible for any subsequent bike malfunctions or resulting injury.
13.6 The rider accepts that should their bike be transferred in any vehicle during the KENFEST Bike Ride 26 such as the sweep vehicle, they accept it is placed and transferred in the vehicle at their own risk and the Event Organisers are not liable for any damage caused during this process.
13.7 Nothing in the Conditions of Entry shall exclude or limit the liability of the Event Organiser:
13.7.1 For death or personal injury caused by the Event Organiser’s negligence;
13.7.2 For fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or13.7.3 For any matter which it would be illegal for the Event Organiser to exclude or attempt to exclude liability.
13.8 This clause shall be read and construed and shall have effect subject to any limitation imposed by any applicable law.
14. The event organisers, Kenilworth RFC/KENFEST or any official thereof shall not be held in any way responsible for the personal safety of riders either during or after the event. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the riders in the event the challenge is cancelled for whatever reason.

15. All riders agree to their data being shared for the purpose of the safe and efficient management of the ride

16. All riders take part entirely at their own risk and by registering for the event accept that they are bound these terms & conditions
